Theoretical and experimental study of superconducting (SC) bearings, measurement of an SC bearing with 10 kg loadability

Bearings are pervasive in modern electric and mechanical. In my diploma work after the

presentation of the various types of bearings superconducting bearings detailed

presentation will take place. The main characteristic of superconducting magnetic

bearings is the levitation force between the permanent magnet rotor and the

superconducting stator. I will show levitation force characteristics of the SC-PM and the

upper PM-PM bearings. Knowledge of levitation force will be able to determine the

exact location of rotor and thus the stator can be in fix position.
