The TRON arcade video game, which is manufactured and distributed in 1982 was famous in the early 90's. The simple game mechanism and various gameplay were the key to its success.
The strategy which a player can move further with in the Grid without crossing any other players’ path is the winning one in most cases. A proper strategy has to make a decision about its next move, with or without knowing the whole game map. It should cooperate with its teammates and react to its enemies, meanwhile the strategy’s algorithm is tracking their movements.
The goal of this thesis is to create a framework which is able to simulate and compare several artificial intelligence algorithms with each other and even with human players. To show the variety of this strategies, the goal is to find and implement some simple algorithms, then create an advanced algorithm with the combination of the simple ones.
A proper working strategy, which I described above can be used effectively in artificial intelligence based controls especially in robotics.
