Organizations with a large number of members are required to have a member registration system for transparent operation. While larger, profit-oriented, market-based companies can afford to develop their own systems or purchase more expensive software, non-profit civil organizations are less likely to do so, especially those who base their activities on volunteering.
Such is the scouting, which deals with young people completely voluntarily. In general, they choose a simple quick solution, a table or perhaps paper-based records that aren’t really safe and are definitely not complete solution, with many redundancies and inconsistencies.
With my thesis I plan a member registration system from the basics that can be used by scouts and scout teams in such a position. After thorough design, I implement the application, taking care to be intuitive and have the little comfy features that are available today in web applications. After implementation, tests are performed to ensure that some of the components work properly.
After testing, I can say that I created a software that can greatly facilitate administration of some scouting teams with some extension and modifications. I see many opportunities to further develop this application.
