Telemetry radio design for 868 MHz ISM band

My thesis is written within the confines of the Research and Development of Mobile Robotics Project. The purpose of the team is develop a small size Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). My task was designing and realizing the telemetry radio system between the base station and the UAV.

The first step is specify the requirements of the telemetry radio, according to the whole system. After this, the system design can be created, which could be used as a guideline during the development process.

Of course a proper antenna is a necessary part of the radio system, which must be able to perform the different requirements of the base and the mobile station.

The last step of the development is testing the hardware and the software unit together.

In my thesis I would demonstrate this developing processes I used during the semester.
