Design of analog signal digitalizer with USB interface

The Cypress USB micro controller number CY7C68013 contains an upgraded 8051 core and an another periphery called GPIF (General Programmable Interface). With this periphery this micro controller is capable of (USB) high-speed data transfer between the controller and the PC. The controllers's further adventage is, that it conceals the USB protocol implementation from the designer, furthermore the GPIF can be programmed graphically. This way most of the protocolls can be simply created.

This degree work's goal is to plan a system which uses the controller's opportunities the best and can operate like an oscilloscope with limited acquittance. The facilities must be considered to use this system as a logic analyzer with limited acquittance.

The task contains the detailed plan of the hardware, creating the printed circuit board and to create both the firmware and software within the graphical display. This system provides a cheap tool with minimal hardware supplement, which can be still effectively used in practice.
