Visualizing email traffic inside a corporation

In the world of multinationals no longer surprising that on an average working day, huge amounts of e-mail is sent and received, as a large company cannot be managed in words. That is why the workers receive from their superiors an email message of all kinds of events, tasks or consult with each other so many times via e-mail too, as they can be in geographically very different places. This e-mail traffic is a very good indicator of communication within the company, we can learn a lot about the relationships within the company from mere statistical analysis.

This network of relationships does not only refer to the one’s position in the group but personal relationships can be also detected.

These relationships can be characterized by a lot of things in that group, if you only look at the relationships within the group, it can develop all kinds of roles that affects the internal structure.

The task is mapping network of relationships between people, collection and analysis of various statistics based on the email traffic.
