My task was to plan, develop, and test a Unity Asset Package and an example application. I had to write a documentation, detaling the various phases of development. In the end I wrote a guide for developers and everyday users.
The Package must make it possible to present images and videos on specified surfaces, and draw on images inside a virtual reality space. While the presentation is underway an unspecified amount of avatarless viewers can join.
For the development I used Unity, Visual Studio and Notepad++, the backend server was a WAMP server ran on my personal computer. The consultant provided
me with the digital replicate of TMIT’s floor created with 3DSMax. During
the development I modified and used it as a conferencespace. For movement the user can use a keyboard or a Xbox360 controller, the LeapMotion controller provides the means to interact with the virtual space. For testing I used the built-in player of Unity. The final application and the package is fully compatible with Oculus Rift and partly with GearVR.
