Thy analytical applications are part of the business applications. These applications are used to measure and monitoring the business processes. If the company grows and more devices are used, it is generate more and more data. Where the decisions based on data an integral part of the everyday work, there the large amount of data analysis is crucial. The statistical analysis and the observed trends are vital part of the business decisions. However, it is not a negligible consideration how fast will get the user the results of the calculations. If it is too slow, it may be that the information content is no longer relevant. The SAP HANA in-memory database and the prepared applications are helps us to evaluate the big amount of data from the database in real time. I have made my thesis work at SAP Labs Hungary to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) module, Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) component, Demand planning (DP) application. My task was to make a web application, which is compare different forecast versions and reads out the data from HANA database. In the first part of my thesis, I will give an overview about in-memory databases and the theoretical background of SAP HANA. After that, I will introduce you to technologies that I used to during the preparation of my job. In the second part of my thesis, I will write about my application’s user interface, functions and implementation. At the end, I will introduce the tools that I used for testing and the concrete application test.
