The outcome of a software development process is always more work product, not only the implemented code files. Other products of the process are the requirements analysis, the specification documents, models, test codes, etc. A software delivery contains all of these above. It is important to ensure that every work product in a delivery meets all expectations. To achieve this goal different validation methods can be used.
One of the validation methods is the review. In a review a group of experts analyses the work product and proposes amendments (these are the findings). Every member in the group sees all the findings, and the group makes decisions about all the findings. A des-ignated person (for example the author of the code) gets the findings to do the important modifications. If every necessary modification is done (or there are no findings) the updated version of the work product is reviewed again. In a software delivery it is important to have every work product reviewed (in that particular version, which is included in the delivery).
This thesis is about the development of a web-based system which supports the software review process at ThyssenKrupp Presta Hungary Ltd. The first step is to collect the re-quirements formed by the company. After that other competing products are presented. The main part of the thesis describes the building process of a new web-based tool in-cluding specification, design, implementation and evaluation of the created system.
