Trembling images could be obtained when moving and filming videos with a camera. In order to reduce this phenomenon, there exist several ways. One way is to remove trembling using software, but there is also a way using hardware when making videos. Removing the trembling with software has its limitations. However, using hardware is superior way, because it removes fundamentally the trembling while filming videos. In this project, equipment which compensates the trembling using hardware is made. This equipment operates like this: First, 3-axis rotation values are measured with Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). Second, measured values with IMU are processed and made into signals for DC motors by a microcontroller based on Acorn RISC Machine (ARM) with PID control techniques. Third, processed signals are transmitted to three motors that separately represent 3-axis of rotation. Motors have directions of rotation opposite to rotation values measured by IMU. Finally, this equipment can reduce and remove the trembling so that videos don’t have any distorted images while filming with this equipment.
